Bakelite shield with the colors of Rome and the "M" golden introduced in 1937 on the occasion of the institution of GIL (Young Italian Littorio). Each command had his federal badge with the name of the city of belonging and with the words "avant-garde" or "YOUNG FASCISTS" on the left side and the name of the provincial capital on the right side. The first specimens like this were bakelite, but as they were very fragile, they were soon replaced by metal ones.
