Spectacular parade dagger for officers of the Japanese Imperial Navy in use during the Second World War, in exceptional conservation conditions. Gifted to a high ranking member of the PNF and jealously preserved to this day.
This specimen is characterized by the coating of the sheath in reddish brown shark skin (Shagrin) while the handle covered with ray skin. The complete dagger measures 44 cm. while the sturdy single-wire blade, typical of Japanese production, has a length of 22.5 cm.
