rarest Italian cavalry helmet UMBERTINO from the early 1900s for troop untouched from the attic cod umb900
Spectacular Italian cavalry helmet from the Umbertine period, early 1900s, name, it is a helmet found in an attic and remained untouched for more than a century. It is also very complete with its very rare container and in very good general condition where the surname of the soldier, it was of a simple soldier therefore even more rare as evidenced by the flat shape of the nickel-plated front cross and from the inside that is leather flaps while those of the officers were in silk. Note the frieze above in brass where the initials of King UMBERTO of Savoy are in relief, I propose it as it was found in fact as my custom I did not dare to remove even the dust so as to leave the patina of time unaltered. A piece not easy to find that would find a place in any noteworthy collection. Good vision
