Rare Italian cavalry helmet from the 1930s, it is a helmet found in an attic and remained untouched for almost a century. It is very complete and in good general condition, it belonged to a simple soldier, therefore even rarer as can be seen from the flat shape of the nickel-plated frontal cross and from the inside which is a flap in leather while those of the officers were in silk. Note the brass frieze above where the initials of King Vittorio Emanuele are in relief, in fact this type of helmet has remained identical even over time and the only variant are the initials which in the post-war period are marked by the letters RI or Italian Republic, I propose it as it was found, in fact, as is my practice, I didn't even dare to remove the dust so as to leave the patina of time unchanged. A hard to find piece that would find a place in any noteworthy collection. Good Vision Museum Piece
